The Norman Way

We do important, life-saving work at Norman Regional and that work is built upon the health system’s foundation of five core values: Integrity, Communication, Attitude, Results and Engagement. We remember them with the acronym ICARE.
These values shape our culture, which we call The Norman Way! It is how we treat our patients, our visitors and each other. It is the standard, the expectation on how people will be treated at Norman Regional. You can read all about The Norman Way in our healer handbook.

Inspire Health

Inspire Health is not just a plan; it’s our vision for healthcare excellence. In a rapidly changing healthcare landscape, we embarked on a journey to reimagine healthcare, taking into account every facet of our services. The plan centers on promoting health and wellness, expanding service lines and increasing accessibility for our patients. Inspire Health involves four main pillars of construction which include:
- Norman Regional Nine: A freestanding emergency department plus, serving southeast Norman and the surrounding communities.
- HealthPlex Expansion: The consolidation of our acute care services at the HealthPlex campus.
- Porter Health Village: We’re changing our focus of the Porter campus from sickness to wellness by offering mixed-use health and lifestyle services at the location of the current historic campus.
- Behavioral Health Center: A new, standalone behavioral health hospital in partnership with Oceans Healthcare. The Behavioral Health Center will expand inpatient and outpatient mental health services to those in need in our community.
